Arab Food Hub is an initiative supported by the UAE government, the Arab federation for digital economy, the Arab League of Nations and several regional governmental bodies.
Abu Dhabi – January 26, 2023 – Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the UAE, witnessed the signing of Distichain-operated marketplace the Arab Food Hub, in partnership with the Arab Federation for Digital Economy. This significant announcement took place on January 26, 2023 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, during the three-day event of the 54th session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action.
About Arab Food Hub:
Arab Food Hub, a Distichain-powered B2B marketplace for food and agriculture, will serve as the official platform in the Arab food security program and a key component of digital economic transformation in Arab nations. The platform, built around Distichain’s model, will target food exporters in the Arab region and empower them with new tools to scale and digitize their trade workflows seamlessly.

Jumaa Al-Kait, Assistant Undersecretary for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Mohamad Al Bastaki, CEO of DT world representing DP World, Mr. Abdel Mohsen Al Fares, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Union of Arab Banks, Mr. Al-Rashid Muhammad Rashid Hassan, General Manager of the Multi-Directions Company Al Kadro, Ms. Mona Al-Baradai, Mahaseel Masr, Mr. Ashraf Alsayed, Board Member at the Egypt Food Export Council, Haisam Jamal, CEO of Distichain, Dr. Mamdouh Abdullah Al-Rifai, President of the Arab Union of Customs Brokers, Amb.
